During my recent stay at Fairfield by Marriott Bali South Kuta, I found it to be the perfect gateway after my arrival in Bali, especially considering the chaotic traffic of the region. The hotel's convenient location, just a 10-minute drive from the airport, really alleviated the stress of travel for me and my family. Our rooms were remarkably clean and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable night before we continued our journey to the Gili Islands. While the buffet breakfast offered a limited selection, I appreciated the Indonesian options available, making for a delightful start to the day. Dery's Restaurant and Bar became our go-to spot for evening relaxation, complete with refreshing cocktails and a pleasant atmosphere that perfectly suited my vibe. The small but serene pool area felt almost private, and I could easily see it becoming a favorite spot for those looking to unwind in peace. The attentive and friendly staff truly enhanced our experience, although we did have a hiccup with one of the rooms, which was quickly resolved. Nevertheless, this hotel exceeded my expectations for a brief layover and is a solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Bali.
